Award wins for avilo

The day before our 6th anniversary on April 29th, we received a message that made us cheer out loud. The message came from the global IT website Hackernoon, which recently held a competition — and avilo received the following recognitions:

Washd Prevent

Washd Prevent is already up and running at several laundries — and the results speak for themselves. Increased productivity, less downtime, and reduced costs are among the feedback we've received.

What’s even more exciting is the steady stream of new laundries requesting demos and considering implementing Prevent after talking with those who used it during the initial rollout.

Prevent is a specially developed maintenance system tailored for laundries. It’s already in use with machines and maintenance tasks from both Jako and Jensen, with more suppliers being added soon. This makes it a solid solution for laundries with various types of equipment.

One of our customers reported that after just one month of use, their production had increased due to reduced downtime. They also saved on the need for technical personnel outside regular working hours — especially helpful in shift-based operations.

New Handheld Terminal

Just like everyone else, we strive to improve. That’s why we’re working on making Washd Control simpler and more user-friendly, so that every Washd user can enjoy a more efficient and fun workday. Recently, we’ve been developing a new handheld terminal. It features a sleek new design, is more powerful, and is noticeably lighter than the previous version. We’ll be sure to let you know when you can take a closer look at this fantastic new handheld terminal.

New Employee

At the end of last year, we welcomed a new developer to the team: Vladyslav Kyselov. He works with us 3–4 days a week and spends the rest of his time enjoying life in Horten. Vladyslav is the brain behind many of the new features and improvements you’ve seen in Washd recently, and he has quickly become a highly valued member of our office.
