Washd Newsletter – Week 8

Dear customer,

At the beginning of March, we will carry out a major update of Washd Control. This includes a new design, new functionality, and improvements. The goal of this update is to make the system faster, more stable, and even more user-friendly.

New dashboard

The work we have done on the dashboard is one of the biggest updates we have ever made in Washd Control. We have removed information that is not being used and added information that is important for you as system users.

For example, you will be able to see how many textiles the laundry currently has that are overdue at customer locations. By β€œoverdue,” we mean that you can now set a maximum number of days textiles may remain with a customer in the system. When textiles remain with a customer longer than the maximum number of days, you will automatically receive a notification in Washd Control when you log in.

You will also be able to see how many deliveries and returns you have had during a given period, as well as the total number of textiles registered in and out during the same period.

New statistics module

The statistics module has been completely redesigned with a strong focus on the use and utilization of textiles registered in Washd Control. You will easily be able to see the total number of textiles registered in the system, how many textiles have been washed, and the utilization rate of your textiles. You can also choose which periods you want to view data for.

You will receive an overview of textiles registered in the system that have never been delivered, helping you ensure circulation of all your textiles. You will also be able to clearly identify which customers are poor at returning textiles and how long, on average, these textiles remain with those customers.

Better performance and stability

Washd will now run on an upgraded technical platform with an improved server structure. This provides better responsiveness, higher stability, and a more robust system for future development.

Improved monitoring and operational reliability

We have implemented advanced logging and system monitoring, enabling us to detect and handle any deviations faster than before.

Automated quality assurance

We have started work on a full test suite and established automated deployment of updates. This will provide safer and more predictable system updates going forward.

Improved system feedback for integrations

Feedback when using the Tripletex integration has been improved. Similar improvements may become available for more integrations in the future.

Improvements in resident sorting

We have fixed errors related to XML encoding and made general improvements to the sorting workflow.

Updated and more user-friendly administration

Customer administration has been updated and adjusted in line with the new design and usability improvements.

Improvements in textile administration

It is now possible to change ownership of textiles from customer to laundry.

General optimizations

Several minor bug fixes and performance improvements have been implemented throughout the system.
