1. Purpose of Processing

Washd Prevent processes personal data to:

Log activities related to maintenance, incidents, machine status, and tasks.

Fulfil agreements made with the customer.

Washd Prevent does not process sensitive personal data (health, religion, political opinions, etc.).

3. Storage and Security

All data is stored on servers located in Norway.

Data is protected through encryption, access control, and continuous monitoring.

Only authorized users with valid permissions can access data.

Avilo AS performs regular security routines and audits to maintain strong data protection.

4. Sharing of Data

Personal data is not shared with third parties except for:

Service providers required to operate the solution (under data processing agreements).

Public authorities when required by law.

Data is never sold to third parties.

5. Legal Basis

Processing is carried out under the GDPR on the following legal grounds:

Art. 6(1)(b) – Processing necessary to fulfil the contract with the customer.

Art. 6(1)(f) – Legitimate interest to ensure the operation, security, and compliance of the service.

6. Retention Period

Personal data is stored as long as the customer uses the service.

Upon contract termination, data is kept for a limited transition period agreed with the customer (typically 30–90 days) for transfer and documentation.

Data is then securely deleted.

7. User Rights

Users have the right to:

Access their stored personal data.

Request correction of inaccurate information.

Request restriction of processing where applicable.

8. Data Processing Agreement

Avilo AS acts as the data processor for customers using Washd Prevent.
The customer is the data controller.
A Data Processing Agreement is established in accordance with GDPR Article 28.
